The Paradox experience is an innovative venue that combines the world of science, art and human perception. With over 70 amazing, paradox-inspired exhibits we are a experience that offers more mind-twisting, eye-tricking experiences than any other edutainment destination in the world! You will learn everything about the exciting science behind paradoxes, have a ton of fun and take photos so spectacular that your friends will not believe they’re real.

Paradox Museum is located in Court A Level 1, next to Tmobile, near Legoland and SeaLife Aquarium at American Dream, in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, Bergen County, New Jersey.

This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.

You can expect to be in the experience for about 75 minutes.

We do not allow any food or drink within the experience space.

American Dream offers convenient parking to all guests. The first 30 minutes of parking is free, thereafter, guests are required to pay $5 per vehicle (taxes included) for the duration of the visit.

Yes! The Paradox Experience Boutique is full of souvenirs, games, clothing, accessories and gadgets that ooze paradox!

You can buy tickets online here. You can also purchase tickets in the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store.

We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets here or in the Fever App.

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.

You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow.

It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket. If you happen to arrive late, your entry will be dependent on if there is space available. This may result in an undefined waiting period or no entry to the experience.

Although we love animals, pets are not allowed in our museums for reasons of general hygiene. We do welcome service animals.

Most of the entire experience is accessible to wheelchair users, and we do our best to take everyone's access needs into consideration. There are a small number of exhibits which are not step-free and some exhibits which have uneven surfaces or narrow pathways which some wheelchairs users may find difficulty with. We highly recommend contacting us before your visit if you have any questions regarding access.

Weapons, drugs, food and beverages are all prohibited. Smoking and vaping is not allowed anywhere at the experience.

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based in availability).

Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.

The experience features many optical illusions, which can be challenging for visually impaired visitors. Only one exhibit includes an audio element, and we do not have hearing loops. Therefore, the experience is almost completely accessible to Deaf visitors.

This is a walkthrough experience, so there won't be any seating available.

Yes, there are restrooms at the experience.

Absolutely! Many of the exhibits are intentionally photographic, giving visitors the opportunity to take amazing photos or videos. We encourage you to use your imagination, create unique memories, and snap a picture of it in the moment! Don’t forget to tag us if sharing online @newjersey.paradoxexperience #ParadoxExperience

No, we do not have lockers or wardrobe available at our museum.

All ages are welcome to this experience! Please keep in mind that the space is not accessible for prams/strollers.

Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide, however, each exhibit has a QR code that links to a website with detailed information about its history and the science behind the paradox. Guests can scan the QR code with their phones and choose to have the information read aloud to them.

Visitors of all ages are welcome in our experiences and you can surely visit with a baby. Please keep in mind that due to limited space and multiple floors at some locations, we encourage guests to use a baby carrier during their visit. We’re here to assure a comfortable visit and you are welcome to contact our support staff ahead of your visit.
